- Hokianga Classic Golf Tournament - Jan/Feb
- Kohukohu Fishing Competition - Jan/Feb
- Horeke Regata - usually Jan/Feb
- Hokianga Harbour Swim - Feb/Mar
- Broadwood AMP Show - Feb/Mar
- Kohukohu Celtic Festival -

- Rawene Christmas Parade - usually last Saturday before Christmas

MID NORTH GOT TALENT
Express is a performing arts opportunity for young people in the mid-north to express the God given talent he has given. Auditions will be held every Tuesday at the Castle Duo Picture Theater in Kaikohe for a series of weeks, entry of $2and then some of the best of those different categories will be asked to perform on a set Friday night entrants will perform and are judged.
